River City will resume public services with enhanced mask and social distancing protocols on January 24th, 2020. City Groups will remain virtual at this time. Here is what you can expect at our gatherings:
-Masks will be required for the entirety of the service (including while seated). Public health data has continued to support that mask wearing coupled with social distancing greatly reduces the risk of transitions of COVID-19.
-Singing will be limited and mask will be worn by everyone singing other than the worship leader.
-We will not be serving coffee at this time as it requires the removal of masks to consume. Individually packaged communion packets will be provided and consumed but we ask that other than this very brief moment of moving your mask aside you refrain from removing your mask for any reason.
-Our one hour services will start at 10:00am we ask that after service attendees exit immediately in order to minimize time spent indoors. If you choose to stick around outside and greet others please work hard to maintain distance and continue to wear your mask.
-As always if you feel ill or have had potential exposure to COVID-19 we would ask that you stay home, get tested and follow public health guidance. Please keep us informed of how we can care for you in this difficult time.
